Christmas by KJO...

Never thought it would happen but today is the 23 of December and what am I doing? Going to KJO!
The day started in a normal way - 15 min. stroll to the rail way station. I came up with the idea of showing you my daily path of torture. While walkin' I have the idea that it's actually the middle of the night instead of morning. Isn't it depressing? Judge by yourselves...

Having reached the railway station, I noticed a funny fact 'there's nobody here?!?' I thought to myself that's because tomorrow's Christmas Eve and normal people were still asleep;-( The platform also looked disturbing- a ghost station.

After getting my usual nap on the train I was ready for the next day in Poznań. Morning really looked liked morning and not like a middle of the night.

Why are the streeets so empty? Probably everybody went somewhere for the holidays. But I'm going to KJO... Will I manage to bear the last day? Probably no but who cares?

PKP and the matter of time;-(

Have you ever thought about the amount of time wasted? So many things one could do, so many places to see and people to meet but nooooo... . We're not gettin' any younger and I don't know about you, but I've started to really pay attention to the time I(we) have left. (The photo was taken in a train compartment which is my daily means of transport to the college and back). Every day I waste 1,5 hour of my precious time on the train. This routine is killin' me, especially in winter when the delays are something normal and nobody pays attention to 'em thus my time! Argh!!!!!

childhood...

You don't need to wonder, that's me;-) Got kind of old now but probably some things haven't changed. From early years of my life I knew there was no such thing as Santa Claus as I saw my parents puttin' the presents under the Christmas tree. At that time (it was probably the Christamas of 1992 or 1993) I was a nosey kid so when Santa came to my kindergarten I remember telling everyone around that it was actually the father of my friend, disguised as Santa. By doing that I destroyed the children's belief in Santa. I was sent 'to the corner' and the teachers told everything to my mom. However, she praised me for telling the truth;-)Each 'n' every Christmas was wonderful (lots of presents, the family atmosphere, the food, preparations for Christmas itself) until the year 1997 when (excuse my french) everything's got fucked up because my father passed away. Since then Christmas as well as life wasn't the same. Generally I don't like Christmas cause it brings back memories. Maybe when I'll have my own kids the fun of Christmas will come back...
P.S the photo is from 1993.

My heart's favourite music

I don't know what to start with? Maybe with the fact that I regret not living in the 80' and 90' of the previous century (actually I did but was to young to appreciate it). My story with music started when my uncle was about 18 more or less. He was into the hard stuff very much, had posters with skulls, devils, lether outfits, long hair etc. generally all the attributes of heavy metal. At first I liked only the image of the music I mean the attributes that came with it but when I got older I started to appreciate the thing that was most important-music! (heavy metal, trash metal, all kinds of rock including gothic, but also some ambitious pop). Oh and of course Polish rock.

I started with Metallica's 'Black album' cause it was generally very light in terms of listening. Then came the meat 'Ride the Lightening' and 'Master of Puppets'. Their are still #1 on my priority list. Then came the rest of Metallica's flawless discography (apart from 'St.Anger'). The dream's come true when I had the pleasure to attend Metallica's concert in Chorzów (Stadion Śląski) in May 2004. What can I say? Few events in my life were so out of this world! Metallica WAS, IS AND WILL BE MY LOVE!!!

Bands that also make me shiver are: 'Slayer', 'Kreator', 'Turbo', 'Slipknot', 'Judas Priest','Iron Maiden', 'Black Sabbath', 'Godsmack', 'Budka Suflera', 'Perfect', 'Lacrimosa', Ok enough we could go on like this for hours...

Maybe some samples of my favourite songs:
Metallica ' Nothing else matters' (Chorzów, Stadion Śląski, Poland 31May 2004- Been there!!!!)

Kirk (leading guitar) is first doodling with his guitar. The song starts at 2:08. Incredible experience! Enjoy and maybe you'll be able to see me somewhere in the crowd;-)

Here's the studio version
Metallica 'Nothing else matters'

Metallica 'Ride the Lightning'

Metallica 'One'

Slayer 'Catatonic' (a tribute to our mood durin' writing classes;-))

Black Sabbath 'Sabbath bloody Sabbath'

Ok, for all ye who are still alive I have something lighter, really down the scale;-)

Elton John 'Live like horses'

I prefer the studio version to the concert but still...

To conclude, didn't want to copy 'n' paste the links to gothic and polish rock due to the lack of space. Generally I appreciate each 'n' every piece of good music (apart from hip-hop-no offense).

Home town

Your probably wondering where I was born? This miracle happened in Środa Wielkopolska. It is a small town of 25,000 people. What can I say about the town? Everybody knows evrybody, there are no secrets, want some gossips-go to the market place and the old ladies will provide you with any info. you actually need. The name of the town derives from the faires which were held on Wednesdays eight hundred years ago. I always wonder how it happened that it has managed to exist for so long. There is nothing worth seeing in the town, so don't bother to drop by (waste of gas). I was brought up in a district where children play hide 'n' seek in the dumpsters because of their parent's lack of interest. That's the way things go on... The only positive thing I can say about the town is that is has many green places in which you can rest (swamp, parks or by the lake). If you don't mind nosy people, lack of shops or places to hang out and perspectives for further life but you like nature come and live here. I dare you!

Addictions

The things that life suffers most from are many kinds of addictions. Everyone is addicted to something that slowly leads to his/her death. Don't deny, just ask yourself a sincere question: 'Am I addicted to something?' Heavy drinking, dope sucking or something worse? Place your bets please! Know whose gonna win? Victory is meant for those aware of their addictions and consciously doing something to defeat them. Pitty for all those who do not want to do anything about the shit they're in. Drink till the bottom, inject till the last dose and die stupid or be wise and live. Your choice...
